I've put this up in this sub before: When I moved out to Australia ten years ago, the prices here were slightly higher than they would be in the UK, once you converted the currency. The effective difference in price in different locations will usually reflect how much that currency is out of synch with it's historical exchange against the pound. It's not.Įssentially, it's (obnoxious, customer unfriendly) economics. I wish it were something as benign as shipping costs.
